Dearest Johnson Family---my thoughts and prayers are with you during this most sorrowful time. Ged and I were classmates all through our youth and through the "Class of '80". I would like to think that Putnam is still small town enough to remember one of its own. Take comfort in knowing he will not be forgotten--as he will be remembered with a smile and with laughter. God Bless!

I will miss Ged very much. I always had so much fun over the house. I enjoyed making Ged's salad, playing the state/capital game. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

To Ged's Family,
I want you to know that I love your son and brother very much...It seems that he and I had far too many "wake dates" but I know he will be standing beside me at this one as he has for all the others...
I LOVE YOU GED and I miss you too much!
Your friend always,
Dawnie

Ged was one of the most big and soft hearted men I have ever known. He in himself was bigger than life. This is his favorite time of year.He loved his flowers and planting, vegtables. He was a man that loved his Mother more than any thing else in this world. His devotion to taking care of her and making her as comfortable as possible was one of the things that filled his heart. Ged, was always there. He will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. There is a place for him in heaven even though he wasn't a saint. God will bless and take care of him for being who he is. His Mom can be very proud to have raised such a good son. I can hear him right now, saying I can't talk long, but called to see how you were, I'm learning how to bake and Ma is sitting right here making sure I do it right. We all love and will miss you Ged ,and you can rest assured we will all be there to help out with any thing your Ma needs. You would be proud she is solid as a rock right now. Robert is a good son too and brother. I know you have other sisters and brothers and more friends you can count. There is also a special nephew in your life and you always let us know that you loved him like he was your son. I hope that you know how many lives you have touched and now you can rest in peace with your Father and spend time with him. When we look up in the sky now we will see this large beautiful cloud on a sunny day and know you are watching over all of us. you will leave a big space in all of our heats, but we know you will always be here, how would you put it, JUST LOOK UP, THAT'S ME GED. Bye big guy, Love Niece
