I remember Baby Arthur when my mom used to go to my uncles house, Russell Barber. I used to be amazed at his talents in that stock car. He was quite the character. My cousin Jimmy used to race at Thompson when he was a kid. We all used to hang around at Russ and Marys' house. He touched a lot of lives. My condolences to the entire family. Sincerely, Carolyn Mende

Mr. Hall fixed my car for me when I was a commuther student at Quinebaug Valley Community College. I could not afford a new car after I had seizes my enjine on my Honda civic. Mr. Hall found another old Honda and performed and "engine transplant," which saved me lots of money and allowed me to finish my education.

i did not know the man beside me and my friend that night would so so soon have me sending you and his loved ones a message. I beafly spoke to this kind and humble man of his family and we shared stories of his wife and how they had a anniversary comming of 50 years. he shared of how many children and spoke of how he was blessed by his granchildren. He had me guess of his age. and we spoke about tattoos. we were surounded by very young people many boys who he was eager to pair up with my girlfriend and i. we laughed and shared many nice things. he was a talker though he never spoke a word. He said using signs his wife was his heart. ponding to his heart. and she was smoking. like buitiful. and he loved her very much not to confuse his kindness in having conversation with us. he was funny. and the man he was with was asked if this was his father, he answered no, he was clooser than that though he was his dads best friend. He did not say goodbye t ome either, but left me with things to share to all of you who new him, so my message to you is this. Be humble, be kind, greet others with a smile as he did. share conversation, for those to pass on live as if it were your last day. i can tell you he was Happy hours before he became a angel. And i can tell you he loved his family he told me. me a stranger.but yet a friend. to have read about him today i came to see, how one moment in time becomes so important to others. i will cherish his face. his stories and his smile. sandi
