Rose A. Beaudry, 84, formerly of Dayville, Southbridge, MA, North Grosvenordale, died Wednesday at the Haven Health Care in Danielson. Wife of the late Romeo Beaudry, he died in 1991, her first husband Joseph A. Lavallee, died in 1965. Born in North Grosvenordale, daughter of the late Levis and Maria (Santerre) Demers. She had worked at Cluette Peabody, and as a chamber maid at the Colonial Hotel in Sturbridge, MA and also was a school bus driver in Sturbridge. She grew up in North Grosvenordale and moved to Southbridge, where she made her home most of her life. She was a communicant of Notre Dame church in Southbridge, served as an Eucharistic Minister. After the death of her second husband she relocated back to Connecticut. She leaves her children: Bruce Lavallee of Athens, NY; Shirley Cloutier; Marlene Lavallee of Dudley, MA; three siblings Janet Demers of Dayville; Henrietta Smith of Thompson; Yvette Pleau of North Grosvenordale and Yvonne Leveille; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday at 8:30 from the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in Notre Dame Church, 61 Marcy Street, Southbridge. Calling Hours Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial in the new Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Alzheimers, 4 Broadway, 3rd Floor, Norwich, CT 06360.
