Obituary of Ethel J. Viens

Putnam - Ethel J. Viens born August 15, 1908, daughter of the late Stuart and Ola (Jackson) Litchfield of Putnam and widow of Wilfred Viens. Died September 5, 2008. Surviving are daughters Nancy Brennan of Dayville and Angelee Quinn of AZ. 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son David E. Turner and grandson David E. Turner, Jr., also her siblings, Vera, Rena, Charles, Winifred, and Muriel.

Ethel worked as clerk in many local retail stores. She was a correspondent for the Windham County Transcript and a member of the Quinebaug Senior Citizens and the South Killingly Grange. She attended Methodist Church Attawaugan.
