So many memories, so many laughs. I always looked forward to seeing Michelle, just talking about anything and laughing so hard it would make you cry. She always enertained us in the Mello line, when we were kids and later on in life. We always knew she was there when we heard the theme from "The Waltons" playing on her horn. It was her annoucement to us all Michelle was here. You will be missed.

Oh Michelle, my mind has been a whirl wind of memories over the past few days. The three most important words I need to say (again) to you is: I LOVE YOU. You've left your mark in this world, this is for certain. The most precious memory I hold dear to my heart is you holding my hand during the birth of Jon Michael. I don't think I could have gotten through this without you! Secondly is loving my son 'unconditionally' this was or is a task that is difficult for alot of people but came so natural for you. Jon may have lost his godmother but has gained himself one special guardian angel.....
Rest in peace sweetie, we know your tired.. Love always and forever Lisa, Deneige & Jon xoxoxo

My deepest sympathy to Michelle's entire family. I only knew Michelle for almost a year but her laughter and smile will always remain in my heart!!
We meet at a church conference that she HAD to attend even though she had a car accident that morning and received several staples in her head. She helped to open my heart to the Lord and I will forever love her for that. I can still hear her walking through the streets of RI and proclaiming her love for God to everyone. I am certain she is in heaven making everyone smile and laugh!! God Bless you Michelle and may you Rest in Peace!!!

Ann Leslie posted a condolence
Dear Family: I never had the fortune of meeting Michelle (in person), however, I did have the great pleasure of meeting her mama Charlene and daddy Norm and it is through them that I learned about Michelle. Wow -- what a beautiful woman of courage, perseverance, and genuine intention to help others. I know she loved her husband and her children with all her heart, as well as all of her family and I know she managed enormous pain and hardship in her albeit brief life. I also know that she was an angel to many who came to her or crossed her path. Two things come to mind: One is that anyone who knew and loved Michelle is blessed beyond measure and should never ever forget how important she was in their lives and that she will continue to live as long as her memory remains. Lastly, it is vital to know that Michelle is now healed. She is smiling, she is out of pain, she is even happy where she resides. It is always toughest for those who remain on earth and who must deal with deep down, tormenting grief. Sometimes we even turn our torment and anger toward the One who created Michelle and sent her to this earth. It's ok though -- for God is big enough to handle all your anger and grief and everyone else's too. And God understands when sometimes there is no one who really can. And so it is important to give thanks to God for gracing the earth with Michelle's lovely presence and to give thanks to God for healing the hurting hearts which remain. Michelle would want that healing. She wants her husband and sweet children to move forward and to keep her light shining in a world that desperately needs Light. And she would want her mama and daddy to know they meant everything to her and that now it is up to them to receive the healing love of God and to keep her memory alive in their family and especially in the hearts of their grandchildren. I pray this will occur and I pray for all who are hurting as a result of Michelle's passing. May the healing peace and mercy of God be with all concerned. With Blessings and Prayer. Ann Leslie

Michelle you will be missed! You were always the highlight of our Valley Airs Color gaurd practices... While all of us newbie 2nd generations were sweating our butts off and frying our brains, desperatly trying to keep in step and manage a double time underhand drop spin... You would come in with that great big smile and grab 2! flags and make figure eights look like a beautiful butterfly. All of us would cheer in amazment with the hopes of someday being able to "fly like you." Then you would leave us with words of encouragment and one more beautiful smile as you went back to the rest of the core to keep them all smiling and laughing durring our Sunday night practices.
Now you can fly anywere you want! RIP

The only comfort I have in this is knowing Michelle is no longer in pain, is with our beloved savior Jesus Christ and I'll get to see her again.
