Obituary of Hector E. Cote, Jr.

Hector E. Cote, Jr., of Center St, Putnam, died Saturday at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. Wife of Diane (Austin) Cote. Born in Putnam, son of the late Hector and Rosetta Cote. He had been employed by the Town of Putnam, Putnam Catholic Academy, and drove truck and school bus, he was last employed as a delivery driver for Athens Pizza. He was a veteran of WWII, serving with the US Army, a member of the Putnam VFW and the Webster American Legion. He leaves his wife Diane, two daughters: Debra Estabrook of Webster; Renee Racine of Dayville; a brother: Norman Cote of Dayville; grandchildren: Dawn, Michael, John, Seth, Kara; great grandchildren: Paul, Trystin, Alex; step-children: Kevin; Jerry; Carry; 9 step-grand children; one step great grandchild. Calling Hours will be Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. A Memorial Mass will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM in ST Anne's Church, Ballouville Rd, Ballouville.
