I worked with Jan for many years at EASTCONN,where we shared fun times together. If you knew Jan at all you knew how much her family, farm, and new home ment to her. She worked hard and always worried about what was best for the students around her.
My prayers go out to Jan and her loving family, she will be greatly missed by me and all the students we worked with.

Rare is the person who will share their life and love with all creatures. Janice was such a gift from God. She will be greatly missed by all she youched. We on earth have great sorrow but all in heaven are joyous. Be strong in your grief as Janice was in life. Our thoughts and hearts go out to our family.

Jan, it is such a shock to know you are suddenly gone. I meant to send you a thank you note during this vacation and it never got to you. I just wanted to tell you that you always gave more than 100%. You made a great connection with The Inn at Woodstock Hill and helped our students to be successful there. You always put students before yourself even giving up your lunch break. Many of students' assignments were nicely done because of you. I know you went to pick up and drop off students at the bus on snowy, rainy, or windy days without a complain. Sometimes, you had to wait when the bus was late and again you were always flexible. You had good insight and were always open for suggestions from others. Your effort was always above and beyond, and I cannot replace you with anyone else. You will be dearly missed by me, co-workers and our students. Thank you, Jan. I wish I had told you how much I appreciated your hardwork. I am very sad that you won't walk into our classroom again. I will miss you very much. Please rest in peace.
