Obituary of Dorothy Ann Williams

Dorothy Ann Williams, 67, of Rutland, VT, formerly of Pomfret, died December 19. 2007 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Dottie was born September 4, 1940, the daughter of Everett and Carole Williams of Pomfret, CT. After graduating from Putnam High School in 1958, she served as a VISTA volunteer and later worked at the Rutland Regional Medical Center and helped found the Heritage Family Credit Union of which she served as Director for 13 years. She is survived by her mother Carole Williams, her sister Jane Quagliata and husband Salvatore of Dobbs Ferry, NY, their children Joseph Quagliata of Clearwater, FL and Carolyn Quagliata of Manhattan, NY, her brother Everett Williams and wife Diane and their sons Jason and Bradley Williams of Lemon Springs, NC and her dear friend Diane Novak. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 1, 2008, at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of Pomfret, 13 Church Road, Pomfret, CT. Burial in Grove Street Cemetery, Putnam. .
