Obituary of Gloria L. Clark

Gloria L. Clark, 94, of Brooklyn, CT passed away October 8, 2024 at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam, CT. Married on September 2, 1950 in St. James Church, she was the loving wife of the late Lawrence M. Clark. Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Agnes (Dupont) Lefrancois. Mrs. Clark graduated from Putnam Catholic Academy in 1947. She worked for SNET as a telephone operator for 17 years and Idle Wild for 8 years.

She was an accomplished Classical Accordionist. Her hobby was crocheting lap throws which she donated to the Veterans at Rocky Hill, the church and to many friends. She is survived by her daughter Gail M. Clark and Angela Von Bueldring, also several nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian burial will Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 10:00AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson, CT.
