Obituary of Marlin B. Corbean
Marlin B Corbean, 76, a devoted family man and Air Force Veteran, passed away on August 13, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Claudia (Hood) Corbean. Marlin was born May 28,1948 in Springfield, Ohio, son of the late CC “Bud” and Elenora “Nora” (Maxey) Corbean.
Fish, as he was better known, loved to spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed telling stories to and about his friends, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a knack for making people laugh and enjoyed riding motorcycles and camping. He was honored to have served his country with his time in the Airforce and was also my a proud retired member of the Road Rangers Motorcycle Club and RIFCA camping club.
Marlin was preceded in death by his brother Ed, He leaves behind his wife Claudia, his siblings CJ, Wayne, Ginny Ann and Marlene; brother in law Warren; his children Shawn, Amy and Jacob; step-daughters Christian and Shelly, and numerous nieces and nephews.
His legacy extended to his 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, who adored their “Papa Fish.” Whether he was teaching them how to drive, sharing stories of his adventures, or simply offering a warm smile and laugh, Papa Fish left an indelible mark on each of their lives.
His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. The family invites friends and well-wishers to join them in celebrating Marlin’s life at a celebration of life memorial the date of which is TBD.
