Obituary of Cecile J. Mahon

Cecile Mahon, 81, of Brooklyn, CT passed away August 2, 2024 at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT. The beloved wife of the late David Paul Mahon for 55 Years. She was born on June 8, 1943 in Putnam, CT, daughter of the late Arthur and Jean (Pelletier) Chabot.

Cecile worked for Day Kimball Hospital as a Nurse and was a Realtor with Quiet Corner Realtors. She enjoyed gardening and golfing. Cecile loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Marie and her husband Joel Williams of Middleton, MA.; her son David Mahon and Melissa Choquette of Brooklyn, CT.; her sister Jackie Battista and her husband Ron. Cecile was predeceased by her son Paul Mahon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Neccog Animal Shelter.
