When Peg became my secretary in the special education office at Woodstock Public School, it was one of the luckiest days of my life. Through our ten years together she ran that office with skill and efficiency (she even used the shorthand she had learned at Gibbs) but with a kindness and understanding for the parents and students with whom she dealt with on a daily basis. Everyone loved Peg and she deserved that love. When she decided it was time to retire, she even recruited her replacement and was spot on with the type of person needed to fill her shoes. She touched so many lives and was an extraordinary advocate for disabled individuals. I was lucky to have known and worked with her.
