Obituary of Clarice Laperle

Clarice Laperle, 84, of Danielson, CT passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Westview Nursing Home in Dayville, CT. She was the beloved wife of Donald U. Laperle and they were married on November 27, 1958 at St. James Church, Danielson, CT. She was born on October 4, 1939 in Putnam, CT, daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Pepin) Houle.

Clarice was a Communicant of St. James Church and taught CCD at St. James. She was a member of The Daughters of Isabella and the Danielson Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary. Clarice was a 1957 graduate of Killingly High School. She worked for Video Galaxy, Movie Gallery and was a bus aide for the town of Killingly for over 20 years. She enjoyed soap operas and country music. Clarice loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren and spending time with them.

She leaves her husband of 65 years Donald U. Laperle, her sons Donald R. Laperle (Heather) of Woodstock, CT, Dennis P. Laperle (Tina) of Sterling, CT, David H. Laperle (Deb) of Brooklyn, CT, Douglas H. Laperle (Lynn) of Dunbarton, NH and Daryl D. Laperle (Lynn) of Killingly, CT; her grandchildren Brittany, Ryan, Janelle, Aron, Kara and Jessica; her great grandchildren Ryder, Piper, Logan, Axel, Navy, Tanner, Oaklynn and baby Emersyn; her brother Peter Houle (Stormy) of Killingly, CT. She was predeceased by a daughter in law Patricia Laperle. Calling Hours will be Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery Danielson, CT.
