Many a church supper were spent with Vernis helping feed the masses. She was always kind and pleasant. Mom and Vernis spent several hours chatting about life (both Pennsylvania transplants). They often joked about married life and their husbands stubborn tendancies.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family as you figure out life without her.
