Obituary of Robert L. Webster

Robert L. Webster 80, died Sunday October 8, 2023 at his home in Lebanon, CT. Beloved husband for 63 years to Carole (Paradise) Webster. He was born in Putnam, CT, on November 27, 1942, son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Eva Evelyn (Willis) Webster.

He worked as a self-employed Electrician and later in HVAC Controls Management. Robert was an outdoorsman to the fullest he enjoyed motorcycling, ATVing, snowmobiling, fishing, boating, skiing and hunting. His grandchildren were his life he was very active in his children and grandchildren’s lives.  

Besides his wife Carole he leaves his children Michelle Holt and her husband Steve of Mansfield, CT, Barbi Chappell and her husband Jonathan of New Jersey, Shawn Webster and his wife Jamie of Skipperville, AL, Daughters-in-law Becky Webster and Melissa Bedore, Grandchildren Jennifer, Christopher, Brittany, Alicia, Amanda, Nicholas, Katie, Ashley, Erica, Tiffany, Robyn, Robert (Eira), Alexa (Axel), Grace, Ahnah, Ryan, Hazel, Ladena, Leo, great grandchildren Andrea, Coby, Elyssa, Filip, Gwendolyn, Lucas, Thomas, Zoey, Dawson.

He was predeceased by a son Ronald Webster and a grandchild Stephanie Holt.

A calling hour will be Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with a Memorial Service starting at 2:00 PM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT.
