Obituary of Arnold E. Auger

Arnold E Auger,75 of Putnam, CT passed away unexpectedly February 18th 2023at his home in Putnam. He was born June 25th 1947 in Putnam, CT. Son of the late Lionel and Rita(Tetreault) Auger.

Arnold was a member of the United States Marines from the years 1965 to 1975 where he served his country proudly. He received numerous medals. He also was a lifelong member of the VFW.  He leaves his wife Waneta Auger and his 5 children Darren Auger of Groton Ct, His son Leonel Auger and daughter in law Debra Montpelier of Putnam, and his Son Jason Auger of Webster Ma. His daughter Michelle Hopps and son in law David Ramosa of Plainfield and his daughter Tara Kershaw and son in law Matthew Kershaw of Plainfield CT. He is predeceased by his 5 siblings Leonel, Pauline, Barbara, Elaine and Dorothy also his grandson Shawn Michael and great granddaughters Alexis and Ava. Arnold leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
