Obituary of Claire Anna Mayo

Claire Anna Mayo, 88, of Brooklyn, CT passed away November 29, 2022 at her home in Brooklyn. She was born May 15, 1934 in Danielson, CT, daughter of the late Henry and Simone (Richards) Beaudoin. She was the beloved wife of the late James Mayo, Jr.

She leaves her children Dennis H. Mayo of Brooklyn, CT, Michael R. Mayo (Sandy) of Camden, NC, Francis L. Mayo (Mary) of Danielson, CT, Claire S. Mayo of Brooklyn, CT, Richard L. Mayo (Nancy) of Westerly, RI, her daughter in law Sharon Mayo of Chesapeake, VA, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sons James and Gary; a granddaughter Melissa Mayo and her siblings. Claire devoted her life to taking care of her family that she loved very very much.

Calling hours will be Friday, December 2, 2022 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday December 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT, burial in Holy Cross Cemetery.
