Obituary of Daniel H. Larocque

Daniel H. Larocque 72, of Blakeslee, PA passed away peacefully in his home Monday, July 18, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Lee Larocque. Danny was born on December 21, 1949, in Putnam, CT. He was the only child of the late Lionel and Rita Larocque. Danny graduated from Killingly High in 1968 and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of New Haven in 1973.  Danny raised his family in West Haven, CT and moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2000 then retired in the Poconos. 

Danny was an avid Boston Red Sox, Bruins and New England Patriots fan. Danny enjoyed traveling all over the world with his wife. He loved his iced coffee and spending time at the firepit with his dog DJ. His sense of humor will be missed by all. 

Besides his wife, Danny is survived by his children Elizabeth of West Haven, CT and David (Lee Cel) of Allentown, PA. 

His family would like to thank his nurses and doctors at Leigh High Valley Hospital and Leigh High Valley Hospice. We appreciate all of your love, care and compassion.

Family and friends may call Friday, July 22, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street in Danielson, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Danielson.
