Rene P. LeSage, 60, of Dayville, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at home. Husband of Judith LeSage. Born July 3, 1947 in Wauregan, son of Albert and Madeline LeSage. He went to school and graduated from Sacred Heart in Wauregan, Brooklyn Elementary, Killingly High and Ellis Tech. Rene always worked locally. Rene would like to give thanks to Mark Wolfolsky and the management and co-workers at M&M Transport Inc. in Putnam, "the best job I ever had - will miss you guys". To David Weaver and Dana Rockwell "words cannot express the help they gave in finishing a million projects I had going on but most of all the friendship we shared. It sure made my last days here much better. To everyone I couldn't mention "Thank you". He leaves in addition to his wife Judith and father Albert; a brother Albert; sons: Joseph of Dayville, Keith of Mansfield; John of Paxton, MA, daughters: Karen of Ashford; Renee of Foster, RI.; his six grandchildren: Brandon; Ashley; Jocelyn; Madison; Alexa-Kate; Jonathan, Rene was predeceased by his mother Madeline; brother Robert. Calling hours will be Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in ST Anne Church, 227 Ballouville Road, Ballouville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to ECHO, Norwich Cancer Center, 330 Washington St. Norwich, CT 06360.
