Obituary of Arline MacFarlane

Arline MacFarlane, 85, of Eastford, died Monday at the Westview Health Care. Wife of the late Robert MacFarlane, he died in 1998. Born September 29, 1922 in West Woodstock, daughter of Raymond and Eleanor (Williams) Young.

She retired after 26 years at Mansfield State Training School and then worked for Community Home and Health Care for 20 years. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in West Woodstock, the Putnam Travelers Club and enjoyed many trips across the United States.

She leaves a son: Robert MacFarlane and his companion Karyn of Eastford; daughters: JoAnn MacFarlane of Eastford; Heidi Horonzewic and her husband Ed of Ashford; her grandchildren: Jessi MacFarlane; David "OB" O'Brien and his wife Wendy and one great grandson, Nicholas O'Brien.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Grove Cemetery, Route 198 Eastford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Eastford Independent Fire Company, P.O.
