Obituary of Alexander Lewis Walker

Alexander Lewis Walker, age 27 of Woodstock, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 29th in Schenectady, NY. He was the son of Shirley (Siriani) Walker of Woodstock and the late Archie L. Walker. He was born June 1, 1980 in Manhasset, New York. He was a graduate of the Woodstock Academy and High Point University in North Carolina, with a major in History and a minor in English. He had spent 14 months teaching English in Central China, and was looking forward to working with troubled children. He loved Asian History, football, reading, and cooking. He leaves his mother Shirley, a brother Andrew L. Walker of Boston, MA, many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service will Saturday, August 11th 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. Burial will be private in Forestdale Cemetery in Malden, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Connecticut Alateen, P.O. Box 370572, West Hartford, CT 06137-0572 or Asthma Association, c/o American Lung Association of Connecticut, 45 Ash Street East Hartford, CT 06108-2372.
