Obituary of Catherine M. Larrow

Catherine Marian Larrow, 95, of Battey St. Putnam, died Friday May 18, 2007 at the Oakwood Nursing Home in Webster. She was the wife of the late Dennis Larrow Sr. Born November 23, 1911 in Webster, daughter of the late Stanislas and Agatha Crepeza. She worked for many years at the Wellington Curtain Factory in Putnam as a folder and sewer. She made her home in Putnam most of her life, she enjoyed crocheting, tatting, cooking, Lawrence Welk and Polka Music. For many years she was a fixture working at the booth of the North Woodstock Congregational Church at the Woodstock Fair. She also enjoyed collected Garfield. She was a very strong willed person and embraced old values. She leaves her daughter: Marion "Bern" Racine of Woodstock; grandchildren: Kathy Ann Racine of Putnam; Alan D. Racine; Mark K. Racine both of Woodstock; great grand children; Brian; Krystal, Sabrina; Harley; twins Cory and Chevy; Mark Russell, Jasper, Melissa, Joseph and great great grandchildren: Emily, Brian, Jr. and Blake. She was predeceased by two sons, Dennis Larrow, Jr. and David Larrow. A Graveside Service will be Saturday May 26th at 10:00 AM at ST Mary Cemetery, Providence Street, Putnam. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to ST Mary School, 23 Marshall Street, Putnam, CT 06260. Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, is in charge of arrangements.
