Obituary of Allan A. Adalio

Allan A. Adalio, 48, of Route 171, Woodstock Valley, CT, died unexpectedly Friday, February 9, 2007 at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. He was the husband of Joyce (Rumrill) Adalio; they were married June 25, 1980 in Foster, RI. He was born May 9, 1958, in Providence, RI, son of the late Anthony and Mary (Fiore) Adalio. Allan had made his home in the Putnam Woodstock area for the last twenty years. He had a great love for, and was devoted to, his wife, son and God. Allan was a very devoted member of the HighPointe Church and was the DJ for the Church 24/7 program. He was employed by Guaranty Pest Extermination in Danielson and was top in sales for the last ten years. He also worked in Radio for 17 years as DJ and Program Director "Tony Knight" with WINY Radio in Putnam, WGFP in Webster and RI 104 FM. Allan also operated a DJ Service for 15 years known as "Knight Trax". He was an avid NY Yankee and Elton John Fan. He was a 1976 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and a graduate of the RI School of Broadcasting. He leaves his wife Joyce and son: Anthony Adalio of Woodstock Valley, many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Allan's Life will be Monday at 7:00 PM at the HighPointe Church, 1208 Thompson Road, Thompson, CT. The family requests no flowers be sent, donations may be made in his memory to the HighPointe Church Missions Fund and/or the 24/7 Ministry.
