Evelyn C. Warren, age 77, of Woodstock Avenue, Putnam, died Tuesday morning, January 23, 2007 at the Day Kimball Hospital after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Donald M. Warren, he died in 1999. She was born June 19, 1929 in Willimantic, daughter of the late Walter and Delima Brunelle. She worked at the Day Kimball Hospital Laundry from 1951 to 1978 and then the Housekeeping Department until her retirement in 1984. She was a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation, a member of the Day Kimball Womens Board. She leaves a stepson, Donald J. Warren of Putnam; a niece, Joyce Roughan of Plainfield; a nephew, John G. Lapointe of Moosup; a great niece and three great nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the ST Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Burial will follow in ST Mary Cemetery, Putnam. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of Northeast Connecticut, PO Box 632, Putnam, CT 06260. The Smith & Walker Funeral Home in directing the arrangements.
