Obituary of Mildred M. Bergeron

Mildred M. Bergeron, age 94, of North Grosvenordale, formerly of West Woodstock, died Friday at the Webster Manor. She was the wife of the late Lucien Bergeron, he died in 1980. Born in Putnam, February 23, 1912, daughter of the late Albert and Nellie (Hotchkiss) Lavalle. She had made her home in West Woodstock most of her life; Mildred devoted her lifetime to the care of her family. She was a communicant of St Stephens Church in Quinebaug. She leaves a son: Raymond Bergeron of Kodak, TN; three grandchildren: Rebecca Cord, Catlin, IL; William Bergeron, North Grosvenordale; Daniel Bergeron of Medway, MA, her great-grandchildren: Elyse, Sadie, Aoife, Lorcan and Sinead. She was predeceased by two sons: Lucien Bergeron, Jr., Robert Bergeron, a sister: Dorothy Petersen, and her step-mother Margaret. She will be greatly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday a 10:00 AM in ST Stephen Church, Quinebaug. Burial in Barlow Cemetery, West Woodstock. Arrangements by Smith & Walker Funeral Home, Putnam.
