Obituary of Elaine J. Bianchi

Elaine J. Bianchi, 63, of Danielson, formerly of Putnam and Fernandina Beach, FL, died Sunday at home surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Edward Bianchi; they were married May 2, 1964 in S. Attleboro, MA. She was born July 13, 1943 in Attleboro, MA, daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Brodeur) Lyman. She had made her home in Putnam for over forty years, a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation. Her hobbies include Quilting, Traveling and spending time at the Beach. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. She had worked for over fifteen years in the Purchasing Department at Day Kimball Hospital; prior to her retirement she worked as a Nurses Aid for a Home Health Care Company. She was a 1961 graduate of Attleboro High School. She leaves in addition to her husband Edward, her children Kevin Bianchi and his wife Lisa of Milford, NH; Scott Bianchi and his wife Suzanne of Brooklyn; Pam Foucault and her husband John of Putnam; her siblings: Roland Lyman and his wife Lorraine of S. Attleboro; Nancy Farranti and her husband Henry of S. Attleboro; her loving grandchildren: Nichole Toledo; Kyle Lacey; Garrett Bianchi; Olivia Bianchi; Meagan Bianchi; Alec Foucault; Nicholas Foucault; Morgan Foucault: nieces and nephew, Cherie, Brian, Michelle. The Memorial Mass and Burial will be private. Donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of Northeast CT, PO Box 632, Putnam, CT 06260. Arrangements by Smith & Walker Funeral Home, Putnam.
