Obituary of George E. Beaudry

George E. Beaudry, age 83 of Breault Street, Putnam, died Friday after a long Illness. He was the beloved husband of Rochelle (Gagne) Beaudry. He was born August 1, 1922 in Manchester, NH, son of the late Wilfred and Eva (Felix) Beaudry. He has made his home in Putnam for sixty years, a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation in Putnam. He was a plumber, working for Briere Heating & Plumbing and later in the Maintenance Department at Day Kimball Hospital. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy. He loved to refinish Antique Furniture, and enjoyed traveling and playing golf. He leaves in addition to his wife of 60 years, Rochelle, a daughter Sandra Coutu and her husband Edward of Danielson; a son Richard Beaudry and his wife Elizabeth of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren Steven Coutu and his wife Amanda of Dayville; Jason Coutu of Putnam; Eric Beaudry of Canterbury; Karen Beaudry of Woodstock; great grandchildren Jacob and Devan Beaudry. He was predeceased by his brother Wilfred Beaudry and his sister Therese LaPlante. A Memorial Mass will be Wednesday at 10:30 AM in ST Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam, CT. No Calling Hours. Burial in ST Mary Cemetery.
