Richard A. Perkins, 73, of Brewster, MA, died Thursday in the Pleasant Bay Nursing Home in Brewster. He was the beloved husband of Priscilla (Sheldon) Perkins, they were married 50 years. He was born in Willimantic on January 10,1933, son of the late Howard and Marjorie Perkins. He had made his home in South Woodstock from 1967 to 1998 when he moved to the Cape. He owned and operated Woodstock Auto Body for over thirty years. He enjoyed boating and fishing and his time with his family. In addition to his wife, he leaves sons; Michael Perkins and his wife Judy of Woodstock, Jeffrey Perkins and his wife Cheryl of Brewster, MA, daughter; Deborah Morin and her husband Michael of Dixfield, ME, sister; Shirley Colburn of Harwick, VT, brother: Russell Perkins of Eastford, 4 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Saturday, February 25, 2006 in Quassett Cemetery, Woodstock. Smith & Walker Funeral Home, Putnam directed arrangements.
