Obituary of Mary F. Morgan

Mary F. Morgan 90 of Senexet Road, Woodstock passed away at home Sunday November 13, 2005 in the loving care of her family. She was born March 24, 1915 in Aliceville, Ala, daughter of the late Paul and Mabel Corwin. She is survived by a daughter: M. Anne Peterson of Brooklyn; four grandchildren: Scott Peterson; Mark Peterson: Felicia Remchuk; Curt Peterson; six great grandchildren- Jonathan Peterson; Brynne, Owen, Kaylee Remchuk; Morgan, Payton Peterson. She was predeceased by her twin sister: Annie Tyler Corwin, and a brother: Paul Charleston Corwin. Mary was a graduate of the State Teachers College in Livingston, Ala. She was an Elementary School Teacher for over forty years, teaching the last twenty five years in Woodstock. Mary retired in 1985. After retiring she volunteered for 20 years at the Woodstock Elementary school as the Sunshine Lady. She was a long time member of the East Woodstock Congregational Church, a former Sunday School Teacher and served on many boards and committees. A Memorial Service will be Saturday November 19, 2005 at 10:30 AM in the East Woodstock Congregational Church, 220 Woodstock Road, East Woodstock. No calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Christian Education Program or the Missions Program of the East Woodstock Congregational Church, PO Box 156, East Woodstock, CT 06244.
