Lorraine Marie Fafard, 64, of North Grosvenordale, died Saturday morning at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, after a long illness surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Robert W. Fafard. She was born July 9, 1941 in Cambridge, MA, daughter of the late John and Mary (Murphy) Campbell. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, meme and friend. She enjoyed crafts, camping, being surrounded by her grandchildren and most of all her husband of 45 years. In addition to her husband she leaves three daughters Tina M. Rickaby and husband Joe, Tammie E. MacKenzie and husband Bill, Pamela A. Ricci and husband Bob, a son Charles R. Fafard and wife Lori, all of North Grosvenordale. Ten grandchildren, Danielle Rickaby, Dylan E. Rickaby, Alicia N. MacKenzie, Trisha A. MacKenzie, Emily A. Mackenzie, Nichole A. Ricci Lauren A. Ricci, Anthony R. Ricci, Kimberly A. Fafard, Kayla L. Fafard, two brothers: Charles Campbell, of Thompson; Paul Campbell of Mechanicsville; three sisters: Ann Lapointe of Thompson; Gloria Comtois of Danielson; Gail Groh of Danbury, several nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs Kizzy and Christine. She was predeceased by a brother Robert Leo Campbell, Sr., July 20, 2005. The Funeral will be Monday at 11:30 am from the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon in St Josephs Church, 12 Main Street, North Grosvenordale, Calling hours will be Monday from 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Funeral Home. Burial in ST Joseph Cemetery, North Grosvenordale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of Northeastern Connecticut, P.O. Box 632, Putnam, CT 06260.
