Obituary of Jeanne E. Thebado

WOODSTOCK -Jeanne Elizabeth Sward Thebado, of Woodstock, CT, passed away April 22, 2005 after a brief illness. She was born July 26, 1932 in New Ulm, Minn. Mrs. Thebado graduated from Loretta Heights College in 1954 in Denver, CO, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. She married James Henry Thebado June 30, 1954. The Thebados lived in Springfield, MN, relocated to Scottsdale, AZ., in 1982, and moved to Woodstock in 2003. She was a communicant of Most Holy Trinity Church in Pomfret. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James H. Thebado; five children and their families, Janis and Jeffrey Beltis and their sons, Spencer and Garrett of Putnam, CT; Joan and Rick Beltis and their children, Allison and Andrew of Dedham, MA; Judy Thebado of Woodstock; Jeff Thebado of Thompson, CT; and Jerry Thebado and his partner, Scott B. Smith, of Payson, AZ. She also is survived by her goddaughter, Jeanne McManus of New Hope, MN; and many friends and family around the country. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ottilia Sward of Springfield, MN. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 PM, Sunday, April 24th, at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial Monday April 25th at 11 AM in Most Holy Trinity Church, Route 169 & 44, Pomfret, CT.
