Obituary of Edmond A. Baillargeon

Edmond A. Baillargeon, age 76 of Boys Avenue, Rogers, died Sunday at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester after a short illness. He was the beloved husband of Nina A. (Townsend) Baillargeon, they were married March 2, 1961. Born July 11, 1928 in Worcester, son of the late Joseph and Palma (Russi) Baillargeon. He was a veteran of WW II and the Korean War. He worked Construction and was a member of Union Local 230 Hartford. He had made his home in Rogers for the last two years, moving from Putnam. He was an avid sports fan, and a big Yankee Fan. He leaves in addition to his wife, two sons: Lawrence Baillargeon of Dayville; Bruce Baillargeon of Putnam; two daughters: Rita Hopkins of Brooklyn; Midge Green of Wells, ME; three brothers: Clarence, Ovila and Donald all of Worcester; sevenh grandsons and a granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons: Ronald and Michael Baillargeon. The Funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 PM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam.Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Burial in the spring in Center Cemetery, Woodstock. Donations may be made to his family to help with final expenses.
