Many years ago I lived in Danielson, and would visit at Christmas. I was also honored to play there one year in a ensemble with KHS. I always found mr Whipple to be so sweet and nice. It has been years since I have been home, so I am sorry I did not see this before. My prayers to you and your family in this difficult season this year. I have such fond memories - as I hope you do as well.

I have many fond memeories of Mervin. He was an extremely generous man, as exemplified by his well known Christmas wonderland. My children enjoyed many trips there, and we were always greeted by a smiling Mervin in his red suit coat. My sincere sympathy to the family during this sad time.

We'll never forget all the fun times we had visiting your christmas wonderland. Then as adults the memories we've mad together as man and wife. Thank you for making that happen, I only wish our children were able to experience that magic.

Remember the great Thanksgiving Dinner we had a year ago in New Hampshire; Mervin was really enjoying the fact that we set up plenty of table space and a mirror so he could watch the drinking games in the other room without moving his chair. Never drinking himself, but always a gentleman and also very grateful for a visit from family and relatives.
Rest in peace, Jimmie, Wendy, Tyler and Samantha.

Mr. Whipple was a true gentleman that gave to others, so that their Christmas would be special and memorable. He set an example for all to follow. I hope we all learned from him that it is much better to give than to receive.

In 1985 Mr. Whipple performed our marraige ceremony. Over the next 17 yrs, we and our two beautiful children had the pleasure of marveling at the Christmas display that brought to life the magic of the season for so many. In 2002 I walked those same pathways to pick a stone that would forever mark the end of my husbands time with us here. I knew there would be only one that would be right and I would find it there. It was the last one I looked at and Mr Whipple said it was one he had just designed. It was the right one. He made a horribly painful time a little easier with his charm, kindness and concern. He will be missed. R.I.P Mr. Christmas and thank you...
