Obituary of Fabienne J. Dupuis

Fabienne J. Langlois Dupuis, 80, of Church Street, Putnam died Monday, October 26, 2009, at the W. W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. She was born August 10, 1929 in North Grosvenordale, daughter of the late Henry and Donalda (Boucher) Laporte. She was the wife of the late Armand Langlois. They were married in 1947, he died in 1966. In 1973 she married Oliver Joe Dupuis, he died in 1975. She made her home in Putnam most of her life. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Putnam. She was a member of the Putnam VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles and loved cross stitching and embroidery work. She was a homemaker and family was very important to her. She leaves her children Gerard Langlois and his wife Linda of Jewett City; Elaine Langlois and her husband Robert Slaughter of Winnabow, N.C.; Jane Lamondy and her husband Dennis of Putnam, grandchildren: Stephanie; Jessica; Ronald; JoAnne; Michael; Ashley, nine great grandsons. She was predeceased by her sister Florence Coderre, brother Lionel Laporte and infant grandson Adam Lamondy. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Congregational Church of Putnam, 175 Main Street, Putnam. Calling hours Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. Burial in ST Mary Cemetery, Putnam.
