Napoleon J. Carrier, 93, of Reno, NV, formerly of Goodyear, Connecticut, died July 8, 2009 in Reno. He was the son of the late Nazaire Napoleon and Mary (Collins) Carrier. He was born September 26, 1915 in Ontario, Canada. He had made his home in Goodyear for many years, he joined the US Army in 1941, was stationed in New Guinea, he was honorably discharged in 1945. He worked for the Railroad in the North-West United States for many years and retired in 1981. He leaves four sisters: Rose Egan of Danielson; Rita Levola of Danielson; Edna Cusson of Ballouville; Ella Willard of Putnam; and three brothers: Henry Carrier of Rogers; Joseph Carrier of Putnam; Francis Carrier of Wauregan; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters: Agnes Carrier; Yvonne Allen; Theresa Bachand; a brother Albert Carrier. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, followed by burial with Military honors in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson.
