Brian C. Berthiaume age 28 of Liberty Lane, Thompson, CT, died Monday, July 20 from injuries sustained in an motorcycle accident. He was the beloved son of Kevin and Elaine (Gelineau) Berthiaume of Thompson. Born July 18, 1981 in Putnam, he had made his home in Thompson all his life. He was a 1999 graduate of the Tourtellotte Memorial High School where he excelled in sports - Baseball as a Pitcher and shortstop, and cross country. He enjoyed Fishing and Jet Skiing with his son. Brian was a machinist; he had worked for several years at Rol-A-Vac in Dayville, CT. He was a big Boston Red Sox and Patriots Fan. He leaves in addition to his Father and Mother, a son: Aden Berthiaume and his mother Amanda Millett of Thompson; a sister: Kristin Berthiaume of Webster, his Maternal Grandmother: Dorothy Gelineau of Webster; Paternal Grandparents: George and Eileen Berthiaume of Webster; his best friend Chad Quinn and the "Liberty Lane Boys", and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT Calling Hours Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made for the Benefit of his son Aden Berthiaume c/o Commerce Bank, 25 Worcester Road, Webster, MA 01570.
