Obituary of Shirley Flora Lefevre

Shirley Flora Lefevre passed away at home on December 27, 2023, surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on June 27, 1938 in North Grosvenordale, CT, to parents, Francis and Marion (Brousseau) Lachance. Shirley grew up on a farm in Woodstock with her parents and siblings. She attended Woodstock schools, she married the love of her life, George W. Lefevre on June 27, 1958. They were married 64 years until his passing January 7, 2023. She leaves behind her children whom she lived with in Ashford, Cheryl Reenstra (daughter) and Scott Lefevre (son), her three granddaughters, Cassandra Miller of Vernon, Chelsea Gaucher Killingly and Camryn Gaucher of Ashford, her sister, Carol Kennett of Putnam and many nieces and nephews. she was predeceased by husband, George, sisters, Esther Phaneuf and Beatrice Bruneau and brother Armand Lachance as well as many other beloved relatives. Shirley was hoping to meet her first great grandbaby this coming summer. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to DKH Hospice team. Funeral services will be private.
