Peter, Nicole, Tyler, Fiona, Sue and all of the Hebert Family:
You have lost a wive, a mother, a grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Penny wore many hats and each one fit her perfectly. Penny was a woman who loved with all of her being. She loved her family and her friends. As I read the stories on Facebook and the messages of condolences, I am not surprised by ANY of the wonderful things I am hearing about Penny. We are all lucky to have known her, we are lucky to had her in our lives. Penny will be missed, but I know she is not very far away. I am so glad that she and I had a chance to talk about the signs that we have received from Heaven from loved ones that we have lost. She knows that I am open to receiving signs and she has send many. Penny, thank you for the 1:11 message on Sunday! I smiled when I saw it, and knew it was you. So...to all of her family and friends...be open...be receptive and you will know that she is there. She loves you all! Penny...fly like the wind...

we were friends of penny my wife zina worked with penny for years... and lived down the road from her in Putnam... we enjoyed many nights with pennys company and will forever miss her... our condolences to her family and friends I know all that knew her will have some tuff times ahead but I know penny... she will somehow let us know she is still with us riding with the angels just look for the signs and im sure you will find what im talking about stay strong everyone and remember the good times she wouldn't want it any other way.... god bless you all ...erik and zina morin

Dear Hebert Family,

Dear Pete, Tyler and Nicole,
You have my deepest sympathy.
I have had the pleasure of working for Penny for the past two years.
This past May I lost my son in a motorcycle accident a day before his college graduation. He was full of excitement for his life ahead, just like Penny was for hers.
Penny made sure I had the time I needed to come back to work and the space to fall apart when I needed to. She tried to sheild me from anything that would bring me to tears, and she gave me one of her handcrafted angels that said "son" that I will cherish forever.
She never ruled with a big voice, only an enormous heart.
I will never understand why such kind, loving people leave this life so early. I only hope you find peace in knowing you were loved by such a kind soul.

May the Good Lord meet Penny at the Gate and tells Saint Peter, "I have this one" and hold her so close that she is healed and full of spirit.

I often told Penny that she was more than my sister-in-law. I told her that she was my sister-in-heart. She always will be. Penny brought many gifts to our family--the most wonderful being her daughter Nicole, her son Tyler, and her granddaughter Fiona. She also brought into our family, the gift of all the Heberts whom we grew to love. And finally the gift of her husband Peter Woodbury whom we all took to our hearts the moment we met him. We are all grieving together, and only together will we be able to bear this terrible loss.

The Penny I knew was as Nicole and Tyler's mom. To me she was a kind, generous person. It was obvious that she had deep love for her family and it just naturally extended from her to the people close and far. She was the sort of mom you want a kid to have, protective and caring. Even now, years later, she was still just as kind and sweet when we met again. I know she has grown as a person but that kindness is inately her. That kindness now reflects in those she's touched. We may not have her on this earth with us but she will always be around, visible in the kindness she gave this world and taught to others.
I know the knowledge doesn't ease the grieving but there will be a comfort in it one day. Seeing that moment will let you know she's near, she still thinks about you, and she loves you.
I am so sorry for the sudden loss and the pains it causes her family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you always and forever.
