Obituary of Ellen A. Deslongchamps

Ellen A. Deslongchamps September 9, 1945 - January 16, 2010 Grosvenordale - Ellen A. Deslongchamps, 64, of Park Street, Grosvenordale Connecticut died peacefully Saturday, January 16, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert Deslongchamps, he died in 1985. Born September 9, 1945 in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of Anita Jarvais and the late Aldor Jarvais. She was a graduate of Putnam High School. Ellen was employed at Staples Distribution working in Putnam and Killingly for over twenty years, she had previously worked as the manager of the Thompson Extra Mart. She loved NASCAR racing, going to the Pocono Races, she enjoyed family trips to Lake George and family picnics to Block Island. She was a collector of Beanie Babies. She leaves her mother Anita of North Grosvenordale; her children: Kirk and his wife Nancy of Putnam; Scott and his wife Cindy of Grosvenordale; Todd of Grosvenordale; Anne and her companion Billy of Oxford, MA ; grandchildren: Sarah, Austin, Lauren, Derek and Hillary. Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 20, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT.
