Obituary of Barry P. Harvey

Barry P. Harvey, 44, of Danielson, CT, died unexpectedly, Monday, December 28, 2009 at home. He was the beloved husband of Colleen (Osborne) Harvey, they were married May 5, 1990. He was born May 28, 1965 in Putnam, CT, son of Merton Harvey, Jr. and Joan (Barry) Harvey of Danielson. He leaves his daughter: Alyssa Mary Harvey; his brother: Daren Harvey, Sr. of Danielson; his sister: Brenda Harvey of Mystic, CT; two uncles: Dennis and Candace Harvey of Columbia; Edward and Glenda Barry of Danielson; an aunt: Sandra Wilson of Putnam; cousins: Todd Harvey of Los Angeles, CA; Carrie Harvey of New London, CT; Tracy, Haley, Emma Paulhus of Columbia; Trevor Wilson of Putnam; Jennifer Wilson Raymond of N. Grosvenordale; Lee Ann, Tracy, Jackie and Jessica Barry of Danielson; his mother- in-law-Carol Osborne of Putnam; brother- in-law: Paul and Kim Osborne of Sturbridge, MA; nephews: Sean Osborne of Putnam; Daren Harvey, Jr. and his wife Kelley; Charlie Harvey of Hebron; nieces: Lindsey and Ashley Osborne; great nephew: Jason Harvey; he was predeceased by a nephew Jeremy Barry Harvey, January 14, 2006. A 1983 graduate of Morgan High School, Clinton, CT and a 1988 graduate of UCONN School of Pharmacy. He worked at Bonneville Pharmacy for 23 years and loved to take care of his customers. He was a communicant of St. James Church in Danielson, a member of the Knights of Columbus in Danielson. He enjoyed being with his family, watching movies and reading. Barry enjoyed playing golf, having a good cigar, was a Red Sox and Patriots fan. He could always take a negative and make it a positive. Please take a moment, say an Our Father and know that he will never have to suffer the pain that he was dealing with. Calling hours will be Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson.
