Obituary of Victor O. Cusson

Brooklyn-Victor O. Cusson, 83, of Proulx Street, Brooklyn, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. He was the beloved husband of Claire (Barrette) Cusson, they were married October 15, 1949. He was born February 10, 1926 in Chester, son of the late Major and Ida (Beaudoin) Cusson. He made his home in the Danielson - Brooklyn area for most of his life, he was a communicant of ST James Church. Victor was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Army Air Corp in North African Campaigns. He was a regional Service Representative for Chrysler for over twenty years, retiring in 1982.He was a life member of the VFW and enjoyed gunning sports and fishing. He was an avid UCONN sports fan, especially basketball and football. He leaves his wife Claire of 60 years, son Ronald Cusson and his wife Linda of Ashford, daughter Jaye Cusson-Malone and her husband Frank of Killingly, siblings: Sr. Cecilia Cusson of Selma, AL; Robert Cusson of Groton; Margaret Auger of Plainfield; Theodore Cusson of Manchester, NH, grandchildren: Jasen; Ronald; Benjamin, great grandchildren: Brooke, Collin and Sage, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Leonard Cusson and a sister Anita Ducat. A Memorial Mass will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Heart Association, PO Box 5022, Wallingford, CT 06492. Arrangements by Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson.
