Obituary of Betty Awalt

Betty Rosalene Awalt-76 passed away on January 4th 2026. Daughter of Pearl and Everett Meyers. Loving wife to Rodney Awalt, loving mother and grandmother. Betty was a multi-talented woman being involved in such things as being a majorette in high school, helping run the teen club, booking bands for the naval base and even performing as a clown. Betty was an amazing artist and enjoyed making and selling her crafts. She was a great baker who enjoyed baking with her grandchildren, family and friends on her infamous cookie days. Betty enjoyed dancing, yard saleing, outdoor concerts, going to air shows, and spending the day at the beach or pool. Betty was an animal lover who enjoyed all of her cats and dogs throughout the years. Betty enjoyed going and cheering at all of her son's little league games and never missed an opportunity to attend her daughter's concerts. Betty was always helping others. She became a home health aide and volunteered her time at church and soup kitchens. Betty is survived by her husband Rodney, her sister Donna, her three children Michael, Donald, Melindee and several grandchildren.
