Obituary of Carol F. Kennett

Carol F. Kennett, 80 of Putnam died February 3, 2025 at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam, with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Paul Kennett, who predeceased her in 1999. She was born in Putnam on March 31, 1944, daughter of the late Francis and Marion (Brousseau) LaChance. 

Carol and her husband Paul raised their three children Bryan, Robin and Jason in Putnam. She owned the Lil-FolksStudio on Church Street in Putnam. She was always so kind and caring and had such a strong will. Carol enjoyed golfing in her younger years, traveling and camping with her husband and children, shopping and getting her nails done. Most of all she loved her family, her grandchildren and great grandson. 

She leaves her children Bryan Kennett and his wife Lorelea of Putnam, Robin Cusson and her husband Marc of Pomfret Center, Jason Kennett of Putnam, grandchildren Megan Cubele and her husband Davi of Dayville, Zachary Kennett of Putnam, Hailey Kennett of Woodstock, Layla and Galaxy of CT, great grandson Levi Cubele, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Esther, Beatrice, Shirley, Armand and daughter-in-law Sheila Kennett.

A graveside service will be announced in the spring.
