Obituary of William Kuchy
William J. Kuchy, Sr., 92, of Brooklyn, CT, died Monday, November 19, 2012. He was the husband of the late Blanche (Senkewitcz) Kuchy, they were married in 1943. She died June 1, 2001. He was born November 12, 1920 in Canterbury, CT, son of the late Alex and Mary (Fedock) Kuchy. He held master license's in plumbing, heating, piping and electrical. He was the owner and operator of Kuchy Construction, he started the business in 1947 and built over a thousand homes in the area. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and most of all traveling with his wife. He was a member of the Danielson Elks Lodge and the Snake Meadow Club. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the US Army.
He leaves his children: William Kuchy, Jr., Ronald Kuchy, Gary Kuchy all of Brooklyn, CT, and Barbara Coutu of Holiday, FL; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings: John Kuchy; Andrew Kuchy; Michael Kuchy; Helen Adams; Catherine Dougherty; Ann Boligan.
Calling Hours will be Saturday November 24, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM.
