Obituary of Priscilla Moscone

Priscilla Moscone, 82, of Wauregan, CT, died Monday, September 21, 2015 at the WW Backus Hospital in Norwich. She was born October 24, 1932 in Putnam, daughter of the late Ely and Yvonne (Poirier) Chabot. She made her home in Wauregan for most of her life, and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Wauregan. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Ladies of St. Anne’s for many years. Priscilla had worked for 35 years in Inventory Control at the C & M Corporation in Wauregan. She enjoyed knitting, reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves her son Michael Moscone and his wife Valeska of Oneco; her daughter Cynthia Moscone of North Haven; her siblings Henry Chabot of Wauregan; Louise Joly of Wauregan and Vivian L’Etoile of Central Village, CT. She also leaves her grandchildren Gary Mathieu, Jr. and his wife Angie; Jason Mathieu, Julie Wojnar and her husband Chad, Christine Moscone, Lauren Moscone; her great grandchildren Jose, Kiarra, Jahlaya, Allison, Aiden, Sienna, Lucia, Kaylei, Ricky, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Moscone, her daughter Debra Ann Moscone, her brothers Arthur Chabot and Raymond Chabot. Calling Hours will be Friday September 25, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Wauregan, CT. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the ECHO Cancer Foundation, 330 Washington Street, Norwich, CT.
